Isaiah 2:13 (KJV) ~ And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up.

The cedars of Lebanon, these are the ones that Solomon used to build the foundations of the temple of the Lord, its frame work and even some furnishings, for they are high, strong and majestic. Only the best for God will do.

The cedars of Lebanon had many different functions, and were used for many different things. When the cedars were cut down and placed together, they would cling together, one to another.

Fire cedars were used by the Shepherds because the were soaked in oil, and would ignite by just a spark, and would burn all night.

The cedars of Lebanon, when they are burned, give off a fragrant, aromatic aroma. Cedars are often found planted by streams of water.

Humming cedars, however, grow near the mountain tops, and when the wind blows, they sway in the wind, and as the leaves move with them, it sounds as if they are humming, or singing through the storm. The cedars are as high and tall, as their roots are deep and sure.

My friends, may we stick together no matter what the evil one may throw at us.

May we cling to one another in fellowship, and may we cling to what is good, but most of all, may we cling to Jesus.

May we be soaked in the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit and burn brightly all night for Jesus.

May we have the fragrant, aromatic aroma of Jesus, by spending time in His presence, land allowing Him to change us to be like Him.

May we learn to sing through the storms of life, and even if we are on the mountain top where the storms are felt the most, may we sing our praises to our King through the each and every one of them.

May we be planted by the streams of living water and draw from the wells of salvation.

May we make our roots deep and our foundations sure in Jesus, may we learn to build only on Him and not on ourselves, and may we grow in the faith and reach high, and be lifted up to glorify God.

God bless you my friend, Pastor Matthew.
