Revelation 2:13 (NIV) ~ I know where you live.

Can you hear God speaking a very personal word to you from our text for today? He is saying to you right now, “I know where you live. I know what is happening in your life, with your family, with your struggles, with your fears and all the other stuff that is going on in your life. I know where you are right now and what you’re going through, and I am here to help you.”

What a comfort to know that God knows where you live and where you are right now. The Bible says in Psalm 46:1 (NIV), “God is refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Ever-present, right here and now, God is here for you.

I know where you live and I know what your hopes and dreams are, I hear you cry and I am here as your ELOHIM ADONAI, your EL SHADDAI, who knows all about you and loves you so much.

My friend, how powerful and precious is our text for today from Revelation 2:13 (NIV), “I know where you live.” God is interested in every detail of your life, even where you live. But wait, there is something more, God wants you to know today afresh how much He has taken a keen interest in every aspect of your life, because He is interested in you, for you are the apple of His eye, His treasured possession whom He loves so very, very much.

God bless you my friend, Matthew.

  1. Thank you Mathew for bringing up to our attention this strong statement of the book of revelation. Indeed God love for us is unmeasurable. He knows us in a little detail because he loves us and cares for us. When we always turn to Him in prayer, we can experience how the text of today is verily words of comfort faithfulness of God. The problem with us generally is that we are constant to wait for God’s time.

  2. Thank you for the words Matthew, Have a good day!

A child is not likely to find a father in God unless he finds something from God in his father.

Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
