Psalm 65:11 (NIV) ~ You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.

Every part of the year, from the first day of the first month until the last minute before the year comes to an end, is crowned with His favor and bounty. Your carts will suffer no lack, no good thing will He withhold from those whose walk is upright before Him.

May this year be your coronation year! May it be filled with the abundance of His bounty and overflowing in purpose. May from the very first dawn of a New Year until the last seconds of the year, may your year be crowned with His favor, His healing, His provision, His protection, His power and with His special seal of approval, from the first day of January until the very last day of December may your year be crowned with the blessings of the Lord.

On this day we stand on the threshold of a New Year, a new beginning and a new you. The past year, with all its faults, failings, disappointments, with all the roller coaster of emotions, has come to an end. We now stand on the brink of this New Year, ready to turn the page into new beginnings, a new hope and big dreams, ready to step over the threshold into new blessings.

What lies ahead is a Year full of promise, with a positive and optimistic outlook. The old garments of the previous year are cast aside and the fresh new garments of faith, hope and love adorn our precious souls. The first month of the year is one, which is typically packed with many good intentions which trip off the tongue with relative ease, yet those who vow glibly to make a New Year’s resolution, albeit done in good faith, fail to put feet to their words, therefore their vows last only a short time. However, when we take the opportunity to lay our plans for the year before the Lord and ask His grace and favor to help us and direct our path, then the first month of the year is given over to the Lord, and we start as we mean to go on, committing all our ways over to Him. The Bible says in Psalm 37:4 to 6 (NIV), “Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”

The blessing of the LORD is given upon your life, for you are part of this year and part of His plan, and His plan is to bless you with His bounty so, that your carts will overflow with His blessing. His abundance will be so rich upon your life, that you will not be able to contain it. As you tithe and give to the Lord what is due to His holy name, has He not promised you that He will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out upon you so much of an abundance that you will not be able to contain it, it will overflow with His blessing.

The seal of ELOHIM ADONAI is upon this year for you, for He has crowned it with His bounty. As you prosper in the spirit, so shall your soul prosper in all things. When you seek first the Kingdom of God, all these things shall come upon you in ever-increasing measure. He will bless you when you come in and when you go out, He will make you the head and not the tail, He will cause your carts to overflow with His favor. For this is the year of His blessing, this is the year of His favor for your life.

My friend, does not this verse bring cheer to your heart today? Psalm 65:11 (NIV), “You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.” God has designed great things for you this year. Believe and receive His bounty in faith, and may your “carts” in life, (your spiritual life, your church life, your home life, your school life, and your work life) all prosper with His abundance.

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
