Psalm 37:7 (KJV) ~ Rest in the LORD.

Rest-and-be-Thankful is a beautiful part of Scotland’s majestic country side. The sweeping views down through a God-inspired paradise of scenery crafted by the Master’s hand, just has you in awe of His creative power of such an amazing landscape. As you drive through Glen Coe you will come to a place called, Rest-and-be-Thankful. The views from the summit will simply stop you in your tracks and cause you to stand in thankfulness to God for creating something special for your eyes and your soul to enjoy.

Rest-and-be-thankful is a place to take a timeout; to rest during your journey through the Highlands. It is place where a lot of people pull over in their cars and rest, while they take a break from life and reflect upon how blessed they are to be in such a beautiful place.

During your journey of walking with the Lord, going from one adventure of faith to another, it is good to simply take time to rest-and-be-thankful to God for His goodness in your life, for the Bible says in Psalm 118:1 (NIV), “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” Make time in your daily schedule to take in some of the amazing scenery which God has for you to enjoy along the way. Take a timeout from your busy schedule and make time to rest-and-be-thankful to God for bringing you to such a beautiful place in Him, where you are blessed beyond all measure in Christ Jesus.

My friend, our verse from today says in Psalm 37:7 (KJV), “Rest in the LORD.” Take time to renew your strength by spending time upon the hill of the Lord and rest-and-be-thankful in Him.

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
