1 John 3:1 (NIV) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.

In extravagant generosity from the richness of His endless bounty God poured out His love on you. Through the flood-gates of God’s mercy flowed a vast and gracious tide, where grace and love like many rivers poured incessant from above. Lavished upon the children of God, tide after tide of unceasing blessings from your ABBA Father who loves you.

The Greek word for “lavished” is, didomi, meaning given, poured upon, and presented with. God has poured out His love, with extravagant generosity, with a bountiful abundance, lush in mercy and grace, upon you.

The Bible says in Ephesians 1:7 to 8 (NIV) In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. Who can fathom the wonders of His grace? Who can count the richness of His grace? Who can comprehend the depths of His love for those He loves? From the riches of His grace, His unmerited love, God reaches out to you today to lavish His love over your life.

My friend, let out text for today in 1 John 3:1 (NIV) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God, bless and encourage you, for you to realize a fresh how great the Fathers love for you, how vast beyond all measure. That you would be called a child of the Living God, to whom God have lavished His loved upon without measure.

God bless you my friend, Matthew
