Song of Songs 1:4 (NIV) ~ How right they are to adore you.

The whole book of Song of Songs is filled with a romantic, eloquent expression of love. In our text for today, Song of Songs 1:4 (NIV), “How right they are to adore you,” the writer of this book is lost in wonder, love and praise to the Lord. Everyone before him who has served the Lord has worshiped Him in love with a covenant loyalty because of His great love towards them. The faithfulness of the Lord, the tender-mercies and kindness, has had everyone in adoration of the Lord.
The Hebrew word for adore is ahad meaning to love, attracted to, of great value and a covenant loyalty. When you adore Jesus you do so from a heart which is intensely and deeply in love with Him. There is a joy which is triumphant and jubilant, filled with extravagant praise and lush worship and is never-ending in adoration to the Lord when you know Him as your personal Lord and Savior and serve Him with willing heart.
There is a song which was originally written in Latin in the late 17th century that was meant to be sung as a hymn, but in the early part of the18th century a man named John Wade re-wrote it into a Christmas Carol with these lyrics:
Oh come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem,
Come and adore Him, born the King of angels.
O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him,
O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
My friend, I could not agree more with our text for today in Song of Songs 1:4 (NIV), “How right they are to adore You.” How right they are to adore You, Lord, how right they to worship and praise You for Your gift of Life, of grace, mercy, love and faithfulness.
Sing choirs of angels, sing in exultation,
Sing all ye citizens of heaven above,
Word of the Father now in flesh appearing.
O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
God bless you my friend, Matthew.

Your blog has been a source of inspiration for me, but there are really some problems that I am really struggling with right now, and as much as i want to hope and believe, I m just really having a hard time taking out this despair that i feel. I am really hoping I can talk to you about this matter.
