Mark 1:35 (NIV) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed

Jesus took time to be alone with God, to lay the day before Him, and to give Him the first fruits of the day. Jesus made the time to pray! What you do in private, will reflect in your public ministry. If you spend time before the Lord in prayer, asking for His wisdom and guidance for whatever lays a head of you, God will give you direction and help you with your daily walk in Him. He will give you the strength to face whatever is before you, in His name.

Jesus took time, before His Father, to commit to Him the day which lay head. He took time to pray, and to seek His Father’s will and blessing. Better to be filled with the Holy Spirit at the dawn of a new day, for the work that is before you, than just hope for the best.

The Bible says in the book of Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) Commit to the Lord whatever you do; and your plans will succeed. Is it not better to commit your day before the Lord early in the morning, than to try and do it all in your own strength?

The Bible says in Mark 1:35 (NIV) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Before anyone else had even stirred, Jesus was praying for them; Jesus was spending time before His Father.

My friend, before you rush off to work, and think you can some how squeeze God into your busy life style, why not start your day in prayer and lay your day before the Lord? Give God the first place in your life and everything else will fall into place. The Bible says in Matthew 6:33 (NIV) But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given you as well.

Put God first; before your day begins, begin in prayer. It is wise not to become a person who gives God the leftovers of your day, with a quick prayer when the day has ended, but rather give Him the first fruits of the day. When you wake from your sleep, rise up and lay your day before the lord, to seek His direction and guidance, to seek His will, to be filled afresh with the anointing power of the Holy Spirit. lay your plans for the day before the Lord, and ask His blessing, His protection, and His provision for your family and friends. Be like Jesus, and rise early in the morning, and before you enter into the day, ask the Creator of the new day, to help you do His will and serve Him with a good testimony. Wherever you go and whatever you do, may He go before you and give you the victory through prayer, reading His word, and fellowship with Him, at the start of the day.

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
