Ephesians 6:10 (NIV) ~ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Before instructing believers to put on the full armor of God, the Apostle Paul says these inspiring words from the Holy Spirit in this verse of Scripture from Ephesians 6: 19(NIV), “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” It is as if he is saying, “Even before you have put on the full armor of God, stand tall, lift up your head and go forward in His strength with the mantle of His power, for if God be for you then who can stand against you?”

These powerful words of God written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit working in the Apostle Paul, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power,” are like the full stop at the end of sentence. This admonition completes the whole picture and now Paul is essentially saying, “Let me go on to tell you something even more amazing that will bless you, which will cause you to be clothed with the garments of His mighty power as you put on the full armor of God.”

I can remember a quote from a football manger who once said, “This football (soccer team) shirt does not fit inferior players.” There are no inferior team players in the kingdom of God. Each and every one of them is a champion, every one of them is an overcomer, and every one of them is clothed in the armor of God.

My friend, before you start your day, make this good confession, speak into your soul, stir yourself up in God, meditate upon these faith-filled, Holy Spirit inspired words from Ephesians 6:10 (NIV), “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Say with great boldness, “I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might, “and see every giant fall before you. See yourself grow bigger and bigger on the inside as you speak these words, which will build you up and encourage you even before you have put on the full armor of God, “I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might.”

God bless you my friend, Matthew
