Hosea 10:12 (KJV), “Break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD”.

A few years ago now, as I was driving past a farmer plowing his barren field, I was reminded of this verse of scripture from the Bible in  The farmer’s field once flourished, it once produced a harvest, but now it was dry and needed refreshing.
My friend, I have often wondered if we at times need to break up the fallow ground, if we need to seek the Lord afresh, to break up the dryness in our life, the barrenness of seeing souls saved and the move of the Spirit of God in power and revival in our lives. Lord break up the fallow ground in our lives, that we might produce a harvest for you, that we may be fruitful once more for the Kingdom of God . The Bible says in Psalm85:6 (KJV), “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”
Let the word of God minister to our hearts today, may it revive our hunger and our zeal for the things of His kingdom, and renew our passion for the lost. The Bible says in Hosea 10:12 (KJV), “Break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD”.
God bless you my friend, Matthew.
