John 2:10 (NIV) ~ “…but you have saved the best till now.”

The Greek word for “best” is kalos meaning good, right, beautiful, fine, noble, excellent, great and faithfully his best. In Jesus Christ, you have Life and that more abundantly.  Now is time of God’s favour in your life, now is the day of salvation. The Greek word for “salvation” is sozo which is an all-inclusive word meaning to save, rescue, deliver, healing and wholeness. God’s best for you, in your life here and now, is for you to enjoy His blessings, His deliverance, His favour, His healing, His prosperity, His victory and wholeness, for you move in the power of the Holy Spirit to see signs and wonders done in His name, for souls to be saved and backsliders return unto the Lord. Furthermore, the Bible says in Isaiah 48:17 (NIV), “This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.’” Not only does God give you His best, but he also wants to direct you and teach you what is best for your life.

God is a God of the now. Eternity has no time attached to limit it; it is beyond all human comprehension. Right now, God wants you to enjoy His blessing of healing, wholeness, prosperity and power in your life.  He wants you to live in victory in every area of your life, right now. Abundant life living in Jesus is not for when you go to be with the Lord in heaven, but abundant life living in Jesus is for you here and now. His blessings for your life, his best for you life is, in a manner, surpassing all others; it is excellent in every way, for He has saved His best for you till now. Here and now is where you are at, this is what matters, to enjoy God’s best now. Then after our work here is done, what awaits us in heaven is even better, far beyond what we could ever think or even begin to imagine.

My friend, what an awesome God you serve who would save His best for you to enjoy it here and now, not holding anything back, for the Bible says in Romans 8:32 (NIV), “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Take heart and great encouragement for your life today. God alone wants what is best for you, for as our text says in John 2:10 (NIV), “…but you have saved the best till now.”

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
