Nehemiah 4:16 to 17 (NIV) “…All the people of Judah who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other”.

What a picture of Kingdom building with everyone was working side by side, with one purpose for God. Each man, as he did so, worked with a sword in one hand a trowel in the other. Each and everyone of them had a job to do, no one felt left out. They worked diligently, they were always on the alert, they were always on guard against the attacks from the enemy, they were always ready to fight, as they restored the broad wall, with their sword in their hand, while doing everyday practical tasks with the other hand.
My friend, let us work together side by side, each of us help one another being productive in what we do, everyone feeling important and everyone having something of value to contribute to building the Kingdom of God. As we do so, let us always be on high alert, let us never let our guard down and let us work diligently with the sword of the Spirit in one hand, and the trowel of practicality in the other.
God bless you my friend, Matthew.
