Joshua 1:9 (NIV) Be strong and courageous.

When I was a young boy I loved to watch Star Trek, with Captain James T Kirk, Scotty, Bones and Spock. As the show was starting you would here this introduction, “To boldly go where now one has gone before.”

I have often thought, what if we as Christians take this on bored and reach the lost with a new passion. “To boldly go where no one has gone before.” To be trail blazer’s of the gospel, daring to push back the darkness with great boldness and bring the light of the glorious gospel to those who live in a world that is slipping away into an abyss of the flames of hell. The Bible says Jude verse 22 We should, “Snatch others from the fire and save them.”

To boldly proclaim this gospel as it should be told, fearlessly and with the passion and fire of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in Romans 1:16 (NIV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. To boldly go where no one has gone before, to reach the lost, just like Jesus.

My friend our text for today from Joshua 1:9 (NIV) Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you where every you go. Today may you bold go where no one has gone before, with this life changing message of the gospel into all the world, and enjoy a new adventure of faith in the kingdom of God.

Morris Chapman wrote this stirring song with these uplifting lyrics:

Be bold, be strong, for the Lord your God is with you.

I am not afraid, ( no, no, no!)

I am not dismayed, ( no, no, no!)

For I am walking in faith and victory,

Come on walk in faith and victory,

For the Lord your God is with you.

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
