Matthew 21:10 (NIV) When Jesus entered Jerusalem , the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked,Who is this?” Such a festival of praise, such a commotion, people singing and rejoicing, as Jesus entered Jerusalem. People turning around to see what was going on, everyone looking out from their window, every vantage point taken to witness Jesus coming through the gate, riding as a King. While the people sang His praise and shouted in celebration, “Hosanna, hosanna to the Son of David, hosanna in the highest!” The whole city was stirred and asked, Who is this?”

Ask Moses, who this is?” and he will tell you, “this is the seed that will bruise the serpents heel, He is the Passover Lamb,”

Ask Jacob and he will tell you, “He is the Shiloh of the tribe of Jacob,”

Ask Ruth and she will tell you, “He is the Kinsmen Redeemer,”

Ask David and he will tell you, “He is the King of Glory,”

Ask Isaiah and he will tell you, “He is the Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Wonderful Counsellor and Emmanuel,”

Ask Jeremiah and he will tell you, “He is the Righteous Branch, and the Balm of Gilead,”

Ask Obadiah and he will tell you, “He is the Lord our Saviour,”

Ask Zechariah, and he will tell you, “He is our Fountain,”

And ask John the Baptist and he will tell you, “He is the Lamb God that takes away the sin of the world.”

My friend, you may ask, “who is this” that we read about going through the gates of Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, to whom the people are shouting and singing about, and I will tell you, “This is Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In whom you find Salvation and an eternal home in heaven.”

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
