Ephesians 2:4 (KJV) ~ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.

Ephesians 2:4 (KJV) ~ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.

Standing against every onslaught of hell, that will try and pull you down and break you, comes these two words, “But God.” God is strong to deliver and mighty to save, and will come to your aid so you can walk in victory. ELOHIM ADONAI is your all Sufficient One, a God of the miraculous. Cutting fear and failure off at the pass, arresting unbelief and doubt at the doorstep of your heart are these two powerful words that turn every negative into a positive, that will bring every breakthrough, supply every need and bring healing to a sick soul, and when you need an answer to your prayers and everything seems, in the eyes of flesh, to stand against you, you can trust in these two words and find it is all you will ever need to bring liberty, prosperity, healing and peace, “But God!

The Bible says in Psalm 73:26 (NIV), “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Notice how everything changes when God arrives on the scene. When you start to pray, even before the very words have left your lips hear those reassuring words of faith and victory, “But God.” The word ‘but’ is used as a stop, indicating that something different is about to happen.  It is an objection to the negative and an overwhelming demonstration of power as God steps in and causes a miracle to happen. God is well-able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, because God is able to do whatever it is you need Him to do for you.

The Bible says in Acts 7:9 (NIV), “Because the patriarchs were jealous of Joseph; they sold him as a slave into Egypt. But God was with him.” The world stood against Him, His brothers betrayed Him and through a false and malicious lie he was put into prison with stocks around his neck, shackles on his arms and legs, but God was with him.

You may feel as if you are going through a hard time and it seems that you find yourself in one bad situation after another, but let me encourage you this day with these powerful words from Acts 7:9 (NIV), “But God was with him.” God turned things around for Joseph and He will do the same for you. All it took was a move of God, and in one day Joseph was lifted up, set free, washed, given new clothes and given new position of power second only to Pharaoh.

My friend, remember our text for today says in Ephesians 2:4 (KJV), “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.” But God can change everything. He is rich in mercy not lacking any good thing; rich is healing, rich in prosperity, rich in victory, for in His great love for you He will always act on your behalf. When you call out for your family, your town, your city, your country to be saved and experience a revival, some may say it is a hard task; some might even scoff and say that it is impossible.  Just say to them, “But God can do the impossible, for with Him all things are possible!”

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
