1 John 5:14 to 15 (NIV) ~ This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we ask of him.

1 John 5:14 to 15 (NIV) ~ This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we ask of him.

Let your prayers be like arrows aiming for the centre of God’s will. Let your quiver be full of prayer requests and your bow like faith that you have to put into action, and your eyes on the target, the bull’s eye of God’s will.

It is the same with worship: let nothing hinder or be a distraction as you centre your worship on God. The Bible says in Psalm 25:12 (The Message),My question: What are God-worshipers like? Your answer: Arrows aimed at God’s bull’s-eye.”

What an amazing assurance to have when you approach God about anything pertaining to His will, that He not only does hear you, but is delighted to answer you.

My friend, to boldly come with confidence and approach the Creator of the Universe, through whom nothing is impossible, is such a privileged place to be in. To have His ear to listen to your prayer and His heart to be touched when you ask Him to show you His will for your life, you can be assured that God will be delighted to answer your prayer. For our text for today says in 1 John 5:14 to 15 (NIV), “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we ask of him.” For your prayers are aimed at the centre of His will, and it is His will to heal, to save, to set free, to deliver, to bring a breakthrough, to provide, to protect and to love you.

God bless you my friend, Matthew.
