Psalm 113:3 (KJV) ~ From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised.
This is such a beautiful medley of words that make a magnificent symphony of sweetest praise unto the Lord. Stirred with a mixture of gratitude, a dusting of humility and served on plate of worship, makes such a fragrant aroma unto the Lord. From the birth of a new day to the twilight of the evening, and the last curtain call of the night, before the dawn breaks forth once more, each and every new day is a gift from God. It brings with it new blessings; it is a new day of His love, mercy and grace, for the Bible says in Lamentations 3:23 (NIV), “They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
The song writer, Paul S. Deming, once wrote this simple song using the words from Psalm 113:
From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same,
The Lord’s name is to be praised.
Praise ye the Lord, praise Him O ye servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord, from this time forth, and forevermore.
My friend, it is good to praise the Lord. The Bible says in Psalm 103:2 (NIV), “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” He lifts up the poor from the dust and seats them with the Prince of peace. He forgives our sin and heals all our diseases. Let us, therefore, make melody in our heart to the Lord and worship and adore Him. Let our praise enthrone Him as our King, our Saviour, Messiah and Lord of all. Let our heart, our spirit, our soul and all that is within us praise the LORD, from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, for our LORD’S name is to be praised!
God bless you my friend, Matthew.
