Falling down does not make us a failure, but staying down and not trying to get back up, does not turn things around. We have to make a choice to get up and get busy living.
When I first learnt to ride my bicycle, I would fall off more often than not. However, I got back up and kept trying until one day, I could ride my bicycle without falling off. I never gave up no matter how sore it was. Whenever I fell off the bicycle, I got back up again and gave it another go. I was determined not to let the fear of falling off the bicycle, or the fear of failing get the better of me. I knew I would overcome it and be a success if I got back on my bicycle and kept on trying.Proverbs 24:16 (NIV) ~ Though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again.

deeply encouraged after reading this. Thank you, Matthew, for putting this together with the promises from God to remind us of God’s faithfulness and goodness. 🙂

Thank you for such uplifting words. Is there any way I could get a printed copy? I have an, as yet, unbelieving, son who could really do with reading something like this right now. I was hoping to be able to leave a copy lying around the house. May God bless this website

Thanks for the encouraging words. I believe that it is imperative that all Christians understand that there will be a season of trial and tribulation. It’s important that Christian understand the spiritual concept of falling and getting up. This awesome Rhema word that you expounded on has blessed me tremendously in my right NOW season of testing. Thanks and may God continue to allow you to bless others through your ministry…..

What a very inspiring post. It’s not how often you fall, but how many times you get back up again that counts.

Good post. I draw comfort in the getting up . . . as proof of righteousness. It’s not the lack of error, or the lack of being knocked down, but it’s the getting up that makes one righteous. Just keep getting up.
Thanks, Angela Courage

Thank you. We were given an assignment in class. It was a video assignment. Everyone saw my post and I was ranked the least, 100 out of 100. I felt so awful. Reading this lifted my spirit. Thanks, again.

This was everything I needed to hear. Today I was really down and out I felt like a failure and was wondering when will I ever get a chance to let my light shine. My hurt blinded me but those words and the text reminded me that God has a plan for me I just need to focus again.
