Luke 3:5 (NIV) ~ Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth.

God can make a way where there seems to be no way. Where, with the natural eye, we see only mountains and valleys in front of us, some high and others higher still, God has promised in His word from the Bible in Isaiah 40:4 (KJV), “Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain”.
He can make the rough road ahead of us smooth and He can make the crooked road straight.  Then, we can walk right in and we can go forward without tripping up or feeling tired and without wondering how on earth we are going to get through this, or how on earth we are going to get our breakthrough, or how we are going to cope with what seems like a mountain in front of us. “How on earth” is not the way we should look at things. We should look at things in faith and declare the positive promises of God. We should trust in His word, His deliverance and His mighty power to save. We should look to His promise and trust in His word from Isaiah and Luke 3:5 (NIV), “Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth”.
Yes, God can make a way where there seems to be no way. I often think of Moses, in Exodus 14:1 to 31 (NIV), at the edge of the sea with the armies of Egypt coming toward the people of Israel, but God caused a miracle to happen. When Moses raised his staff and stretched his hand over the sea, God caused the sea to open and a wall on either side as the people of Israel walked through on dry land. God made a way where there seemed to be no way!
God can do the same for each and every one of us. He will cause a miracle to happen when we lift our hearts, our voices and our hands up to Him in prayer.
Sometimes we may have to travel on rough roads. Some have even felt the pain of suffering in those rough times in their lives, but God has brought them through it stronger, and a better person for it.
My friend, if you feel you are traveling on a rough road, then pray for His grace to help you on it. Ask Him to make the rough roads smooth. If the way before you seems like a mountain, then God can make every mountain low and every valley filled in so the way before you will be open and smooth. If you feel that you are blocked in and do not know where to go or what is the next step to take, and you need to know His deliverance then, take heart. God can make a way where there seems to be no way. He will cause a miracle to happen in your life and show Himself strong on your behalf.
God bless you my friend, Matthew.
