Exodus 32:26 (KJV), “Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, ‘Who is on the LORD’s side?’”
When election time comes around, this question is asked of you, “Whose side are you on?” It is a question that demands a response. For you cannot stay in the middle of the fence. You have to make a choice as to what banner you will serve under. This choice is an earthly one that has no bearing on your eternal destination. However, one day you will hear these words echo in your heart, “who is on the Lord’s side?” This question WILL demand a response that WILL effect your eternal destination.
My friend, what then, will your answer be? Will you serve the Lord? This is “THE” question of all time. It is one that demands a response; one that you cannot stand on the fence with. This question is one that calls out to you to choose to say, “I will serve the Lord and rally under His banner. I will follow Him with all my heart, and then one day meet Jesus Christ the Saviour of my soul in Heaven”, or “I will not rally under His banner. I will say, ‘No’ to Jesus and spend eternity in hell”. You see, my friend, the decision you make will determine your eternal destiny: heaven for those who choose to follow Jesus or, hell for those who reject him.
I hope and pray that you choose to serve Jesus, and that when you hear those words calling to you, “Who is on the Lords side?” you can reply, “I am on the Lords side!”
God bless you my friend, Matthew.
